Volunteer with Animal Rescue Project

Join the Animal Rescue Project volunteer family

Dedicated volunteers are our most valuable asset. We could not operate without the services of dedicated volunteers. You can volunteer to help in numerous areas including walking dogs, socializing cats, helping at adoption events, becoming an adoption counselor, making phone calls from home, transporting animals to and from the vet, office tasks, and becoming a foster care provider. For a longer list, see our Volunteer Opportunities page.

We suggest that new volunteers become involved gradually and take on more responsibilities as their time and interest allow. Because we count on our volunteers, we need you to follow through with your commitments in a reliable and professional manner.

In return for your service to the homeless pets of Animal Rescue Project, you will gain several things:

Many of us have been involved in animal rescue for years and wouldn't trade the experience for anything. We invite you to use your abilities and develop new skills as part of our volunteer team.

We also ask you become a member of our organization so that you may enjoy the many benefits that come with membership.

Our code of conduct

When you join our team, you're part of our family, whether you've been with us since we started or you have just signed up. As an Animal Rescue Project volunteer we ask you to agree to our code of conduct:

Our code of conduct guides us in maintaining a harmonious volunteer community, where people are respected for their contributions and are dedicated to helping one another succeed.
