Angel is a beautiful young Brittany mix who was found by Newaygo County Animal Control. She is such a sweet girl that Animal Control employees contacted multiple rescue organizations in hopes that someone would take her in and find her a good home. ARP was lucky enough to get to her in time.
Currently Angel is around 8 months old and weighs 50lb. It is likely that she is mostly full grown. She is primarily white with cute reddish brown spots on her ears and nose.
Although Angel is hearing impaired, she is becoming familiar with hand signal training and
doesn’t let it slow her down! She will eagerly “sit”, lie “down”, “shake” and is working on the “stay” command as well.
Angel gets along well with cats, other dogs and small children. She is very gentle and doesn’t jump up on people, making her an excellent candidate for a family environment.
Presently Angel lives with her foster family which includes a young girl, a cat and three other dogs; a pit bull mix, boxer mix and lab/shepherd mix. She also likes to spend time on play dates with other ARP dogs.
Angel enjoys going on walks and behaves well on leash. She is always excited to hop in the car and go for a ride as well!
You can meet Angel at one of our Saturday adoption events. For more information on Angel contact us

Shelia is an adoptable cattle dog staying in an Animal Rescue Project foster home. She gets along well with the other dog in her foster home and likes to run and play. The other dog in her foster home needs to have surgery, though, and will need a few weeks of quiet time to recuperate. That means that Shelia needs to find another foster home as soon as possible.
She is spayed and ready for adoption.
If you can foster Shelia even temporarily and can give her space to run, or if you have any questions about Shelia, please email Diane now at dian...@animalrescueproject.org. Please also contact Diane if you’d like to find out about adopting her.
