Roxie is a medium-size young Labrador Retriever / Hound mix that came to us as a mama dog with her puppies. Her puppies have all been adopted, and Roxie is now waiting for her turn for a forever home. She’s very affectionate and sociable with other dogs as well as with people.
When we need a dog that we can depend on to get along with everyone in a variety of situations, Roxie is one of the dogs that we turn to. She’s been to several special events, including the Do-Dah parade in Kalamazoo in June. She does well with adults and children, in crowds and one-on-one. She’s eager to give and receive affection. On car rides, she’s well behaved, and she’s gotten along fine with the different dogs she’s shared her kennel with at the shelter.
